Hinata in Charlemont, MA is an immersive outdoor retreat, offering a refined blend of nature, wellness, and a Nordic/ Japanese-inspired minimalism.
Nestled in the Berkshire forests, the project features elevated cabins, panoramic dining spaces, and serene guest rooms crafted with warm woods, expansive glazing, and intimate connections to the landscape.
Each private cabin is designed for year-round comfort, with quiet architectural lines, natural materials, spa-like amenities, and uninterrupted views of the surrounding hills. Thoughtfully planned pathways, low-impact foundations, and site-sensitive design preserve the land while elevating the guest experience.
The main lodge—home to a restaurant, lounge, and gathering spaces—creates a soothing atmosphere rooted in craft, light, and texture.
Hinata sets a new standard for modern outdoor hospitality, merging timeless architecture with restorative, nature-forward living in the heart of Massachusetts.
