Firelight Camps in Phoenicia, NY brings a new level of luxury glamping to the Catskills through architecture that connects guests directly to nature. Set along the Esopus Creek, the eco-resort features elevated tented cabins, open-air lounges, and a bright reception lodge woven into meadows, forests, and mountain views.
Each glamping tent is built on durable timber platforms with canvas roofs, screened porches, and simple, refined detailing. Tiered accommodations—from cozy couples tents to spacious family suites—are oriented for privacy, sunlight, and immersive wilderness views. Private decks, hammocks, outdoor showers, and natural pathways enhance the indoor-outdoor experience.
The reception lodge serves as a welcoming hub with timber trusses, natural textures, and generous outdoor seating overlooking the landscape. With its focus on sustainable design, honest materials, and a light environmental footprint, Firelight Camps elevates luxury camping in the Catskills and offers a tranquil retreat for travelers seeking comfort, nature, and a restorative escape.
